St. Joseph's Pre School is run by the De La Salle Brothers, part of a worldwide network of schools founded on one simple idea: every child deserves an education that treats them with dignity, in community, and close to home.
Our approach
We keep classes small and days predictable, so children build confidence before they build vocabulary. Carers are trained in early-years practice, and every "workshop" table leaves room for a child to work at their own pace.
Faith is present but never heavy-handed — a short prayer at circle time, a simple story about St. Joseph the worker, and a value like patience or care named and practised the same afternoon.

Block construction, craft, music and outdoor play, building fine and gross motor skills.

A single, secured classroom block and play yard on De La Salle Street, Mutuwal, built for small children and small tools.

The people who care for your child
Our carers hold early-childhood qualifications and are chosen as much for patience as for training. Most have taught together for several years, so your child is handed between familiar, well-known faces all day.
